NON-PHYSICAL COMPLIMENTING

Happy Monday! Before beginning, let's do a quick five-minute project together. Get a piece of paper and write down the most memorable compliments you have received. After five minutes, look at your paper and take time to read through them.

OK, now let's talk about compliments. Have you ever had a compliment that stuck in your mind for a while? Why did it stick? Have you ever gotten a compliment on something outside of your body? How did that feel? Did it stick in your mind? Was there a compliment that raised your self-love levels? What was that compliment?

Compliments can bring a smile to someone's face, make someone's day, remind them of the good, and it can even help boost their self-love. While self-love is important to find on your own, often times a compliment can help someone in their self-love journey. Not only that, but it also shows that you care for that person in general.

Most of the time, the compliments that stick with us are the ones that are genuine and thought out. This doesn't mean it can't be about your physical appearance but when you compliment someone on something other than what you can see in front of you, it is more likely to stick and bring a smile to their face. Lexi Hidalgo said on her Moments Podcast, that "the least interesting thing about a person is their body." And that is so true, we have a mind, a personality, a style, talents, ect... So why compliment the least interesting part, a body? A body is what you see on the surface, but the compliments that stick and show you care are the ones deeper than the surface.

Today we are going to give you non-physical compliment idea list. This list can help you start complimenting people on things other than their physical appearance. It could also help you find new ways and things to comment on social media, a place where most compliments are comments on the body. So, let's get to the list.
