Mindset has an incredible amount of impact on our lives that most people don't even realize. One of the best ways to improve your day and your life is by changing your mindset. Like the quote above, it changes everything around you. For example, if you have the mindset that your entire life is boring, you will overlook the really cool, amazing things that happen. BUT, if your mindset is that your life is the coolest thing ever, your mind forces you to see and recognize that pretty flower, amazing friends, or interesting classes. The best time of day to shift your mindset is in the morning because it sets the tone for the day and will become a habit. Today we have 9 ways to shift your mindset in the morning. Let's get to it!
MORNING MINDSET SHIFTING
Write 10 affirmations for the day: Beginning your day with affirmations is affirming your mind for the rest of the day. It is like an assurance and reminder that resets and changes your mindset. Affirmations can make a huge difference your day and even more so if you practice them daily in the morning.
Meditation: The calming, quiet time during meditation allows the mind to free think and this is where you can shift your mindset. Practicing meditation after writing your affirmations down can make this even better for a mind reset.
5x7x5 Breathing: Breath work can calm nerves, get you out of fight or flight, and helps deal with chronic stress. Doing this on a stressful morning is a great way to give your mind and body a chance to take break. Then, with a clear mind, you can reset and refocus your mindset.

Write your intentions for the day: Setting your intentions for the day tells your mind exactly what you are going to do today and how you intend for the day to go. This will force your mind to get on board and change your mindset for your intentions.
Turn your to-do list into a get-to list: This is similar to the gratitude journaling in the sense that changing your mindset from the idea of having to do things to you get to do something. For example, maybe on your to-do list is go to school, you can change that into you get to go to school and get an education. This is one of the best things and easiest ways to shift your mindset.
Morning walks: Physical exercise is a wonderful way to begin your day and a good time to reset your mindset. On this walk you can listen to uplifting music or an influential podcast to shift your mindset for the day.
Read a chapter of a book: Books have the power to change the way you see the world even if it isn't a self-help book. Simply reading a powerful book, can shift the way you go about your day and is a great option to start your day with.
