Serves: Approx 6-7 people
Time: 10 minutes
INGREDIENTS
-2 bags of cranberries(two 12oz bags of cranberries)
-1 apple (any type will work but a harder apple will be better)
-1/2 cup of sugar (you can use monk fruit sugar or coconut sugar as a replacement if preferred)
EXTRA NEEDED ITEMS -a blender or something to mix/chop everything
STEPS
First, you need to wash all of your cranberries and the apple. Once they are washed, chop the apple into dice sized pieces so it blends easier.
Next, pour all of your apples into the blender and do a quick blend (until they look chopped)
Once the apples are blended, add in the cranberries to the blender and mix until it is all finely chopped with a little liquid forming at the bottom.
Then, transfer the mix into a bowl and add in the sugar and stir it until the sugar is evenly stirred into the sauce.
Cover and store in the fridge or enjoy!
HELPFUL INFORMATION
These are a few extras that we have found are helpful for this recipe. Wether you like sweeter flavors or you don't have a large blender, we have a solution for you!
If two bags of cranberries wont fit into your blender, cut the recipe in half and make it twice. Then combine the two to create the full amount.
If you want this recipe to be sweeter, you can add extra sugar or let it sit in the fridge overnight.
This recipe is usually better if you make it the day before and let it sit in a fridge overnight.
If you enjoy citrus, half an orange(no peel) can be added to the blender when you mix up the apples.
We hope you enjoy this CRANBERRY SAUCE recipe and have a lovely weekend. Remember: If you try out this recipe, tag us in a photo on Instagram @beeramagazine, for a feature on our story.
