Three Unique Hot Chocolate Recipes

Happy Merry Holidays!

It’s December, and while winter has not always been my favorite, the holiday season has always ranked right up there with my favorites. One holiday tradition my family started around 3 years ago is learning about other peoples traditions and holiday celebrations. What food they eat, who comes to visit each country, the origins of folk stories, ect. Personally, I’ve found this new tradition to be one of my favorites. It’s quite eye opening and beautiful to learn about different traditions that other people have during the holiday season. Research even suggests that learning about other peoples traditions encourages empathy and respect for those around you! This year I’ve been reading up on one of my favorite holiday drinks (right after eggnog of course), Hot Chocolate! I’m the biggest chocolate fan. It’s not just sweet and mouthwateringly delicious, it also has tons of health benefits, especially for us women! There is a reason that many of us crave chocolate during our periods, we are actually craving the magnesium from the chocolate that many of us are low in during our cycle! In other words, having some dark chocolate could actually be helping your magnesium intake and your body! For me hot chocolate is not just yummy and healthy, it’s also just mentally peaceful and calming to pour a warm drink on a cool night, and snuggle up for the evening.

This year, I've been trying lots of unique recipes and wanted to share three of them that have been inspired by a combination of recipes from all over. If try you any of these recipes, I'd love to see it, so tag us @beeveryera on Instagram! And if you have your own hot chocolate tradition, feel free to share it by sending us a message or leaving a comment down below!
