FOOD FRIDAY: SUMMER TIME POPSICLES


Hey, guess what day? FOOD FRIDAY! Today the food is 3 different summer time popsicles to make.



1. SUMMER DREAM POPSICLES

SUMMER DREAM POPSICLES

INGREDIENTS (makes 4)

-2 apricots

-1 peach

-1/2 a mango

-1 tsp of lemon zest

-3 tbsp of coconut milk

STEPS

  1. Blend all ingredients together

  2. Pour into a container and stick a popsicle stick in the middle

  3. Freeze overnight and enjoy



2. CASHEW CUPS POPSICLE

CASHEW CUPS POPSICLE

INGREDIENTS (makes 4)

-1 cup of vanilla coconut milk "yogurt"

-1 tbs of creamed honey

-2 tbs of cashew butter

-1 tsp of unsweetened coco powder

STEPS

  1. Mix your "yogurt" and creamed honey together and pour a small amount at the bottom of your popsicle containers (leave extra for later)

  2. Take the left over from the "yogurt"/honey mix and mix in the cashew butter and unsweetened coco powder

  3. Pour the second mix on top of the first mix in the popsicle container

  4. Put a popsicle stick in the middle and freeze overnight and enjoy



3. COCONUT HIBISCUS POPSICLE

COCONUT HIBISCUS POPSICLE

INGREDIENTS

-2 tbs of dried hibiscus flower (crushed)

-1 tbs of honey

-3 tbsp of water

-1 can of organic coconut cream (slightly stirred)

-1 cup of coconut milk


STEPS

  1. Take your water and crushed flowers and boil them in a pot until the flowers soften

  2. Once softened, drain the water, and the flowers out, and mix them in with the rest of the ingredients

  3. Pour into the popsicle containers, put a stick in the middle, let freeze overnight, and enjoy
