Happy Monday! Indoor planting is one type of planting that is fairly universal on directions of what to plant, where to plant, and how to plant since zone differences and season changes don't effect the indoors as much as they do outdoors. Indoor plants make for a beautiful, natural decor and some indoor plants can even benefit you and/or the air indoors. Like humans, all plants have certain qualities about them that tell us where they thrive and survive best. Some plants like the sun, others don't. Some like the wet and the cold, and others prefer the hot and dry areas. There are also places inside that certain indoor plants love and others don't. It is good to know which plants are good for indoors, what the benefits of each plant is, where to place the plants inside, and the basics of how to take care of them. If you are a beginner in indoor planting, or maybe some of your indoor plants aren't doing well we are here to help you out with the WHAT, WHERE, AND HOW'S ON INDOOR PLANTING!

1. Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is a simple cacti plant and is great for the bedroom because it releases oxygen at night. To take care of this plant you need to water it once-twice a month, and let it get at least 6 hours of sunlight. This is a succulent and needs a decent amount of sunlight so near a window is a good place for it.
2. Snake Plant
This is a hard plant to kill and thrives on neglect because like the aloe plant, it is a succulent. Watering once-twice a month will keep it alive and it doesn't need much sunlight. This plant is also good for the bedroom because it transforms carbon dioxide into oxygen at night.
3. Peace Lily
Peace lilies are actually one of the easier air purifying plants and is rated as one of the best plants to purify because they remove toxins from the air. A peace lily likes low light or indirect light and needs watering when it begins to droop, which is usually every 5-10 days (don't worry it doesn't stay droopy once it is watered!)

5. Jasmine Plant
Another good plant for the bedroom is a Jasmine because it has qualities that can sooth the body and mind. Of course, you could have it in other areas, so long as the room has 6 hours of sunlight.
