Stressed spelled backwards is desserts... it's time to treat yourself.

Matcha chocolate covered strawberries

Before we begin, a new blog update! As some of you know, I took a long break from this blog while I worked out some of my personal life, but when I came back I set a small goal of posting on here at least once a month. It's been over 6 months of success, so I am now dedicating myself to 2 posts a month, the 1st and the 15th. So here's to the first June post, and stay tuned for a second! I recently have been trying so many new recipes that I am so excited to share with you all. When I first made this blog, I wanted it to be all encompassing around wellness, which to me a part of that was food, but more specifically finding joy in the balance of nourishing our bodies. Today's recipe is a short one, and easy... the perfect summer snack or treat after a pool day or cuddled up as the sun is setting. A Matcha Strawberry Recipe!!!

Who else loves matcha? Personally, I don't love coffee so my mom starting making me matcha in the morning and I LOVED it. So much so she taught me how to make it myself and now it's my go to when I need an energy boost. Since I love it so much, I started adding it to different foods, like sprinkling matcha powder on top of vanilla ice cream (you should try this... it's amazing). But chocolate strawberries, has been an absolute go to treat for me these last few weeks, so why not add a matcha twist to this classic dish?

Matcha Strawberry Recipe

  • Makes: 8 strawberries

  • Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of white chocolate chips

  • 8 strawberries

  • 2 tsp of matcha powder

Directions

  1. Wash and dry all your strawberries. Make sure there is no water left on the strawberries, or else nothing will stick to it!

  2. Pour your white chocolate chips into a glass bowl.

  3. Heat your chocolate chips. You can microwave for around minute or warm them on the stovetop.

  4. Once warmed, add your matcha powder and combine everything!

  5. Line a dish with parchment paper.

  6. Then dip each strawberry into your matcha chocolate, and gently place them on your parchment paper.

  7. Lastly, let them cool for 5-10 minutes and ENJOY!

Share your matcha strawberries with us in the comments or tag us on Instagram @beeveryera! Stay tuned for our next blog post that will be out on June 15th! And as summer begins, remember to embrace and BE in every moment.

All my love,

B.
